Areas of Practice

Estate & Tax Planning

Having an estate plan is important. You want to make sure the assets you’ve worked hard to accumulate during your lifetime go to the people or organizations you care about and that you minimize taxes and expenses during the process. Whether you have a successful business or just a few retirement accounts, a large family or no family, I can help you navigate succession planning and come up with an easy to understand plan that will make sure your wishes for your estate are achieved.

Probate & Trust Administration

When someone passes away you have enough on your plate. Don’t have the legal aspects of estate administration be another burden you have to struggle through. For estate’s big or small, facing family dynamics after the death of a family member is difficult. Let someone who has guided many families through this process guide you. Whether a trust or the need to probate the estate, it is well worth it to have an experienced legal expert on your side through the process.

Medicaid Planning

Paying for long term care is daunting for anyone. When facing a serious diagnoses like dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or Parkinson the future feels uncertain and understanding how to pay for it and what benefits might be available can go a long way towards peace of mind. Medicaid benefits can feel like a particularly deep and confusing issue with lots of competing information. Let someone who is an expert in the ever changing rules of this field help you understand what is at stake, what your costs and risks might be and plan for the best future.

“We must all obey the great law of change. It is the most powerful law of nature.”

– Edmund Burke
